"Adrenaline' blooms into a club banger that hinges on a delicate balance of heartache, audacity and wistfulness." - NPR Today, Atlanta-bred singer/songwriter BOSCO announces her new project 'b.' will be released on August 11 via Fool's Gold. In celebration, she shares her electrifying new single, "Adrenaline", which premiered on NPR and Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show earlier today. On b., her most personal work to date, BOSCO puts forth a collection of diary-like tracks that blend r&b and indie, chronicling her very genuine coming of age and showcasing her vast skill and sound. It features collaborations with Niia, St. Beauty, Anna Wise and production by Sammy Bananas, and long-time Atlanta friends and collaborators, Haunted (Washed Out, Toro y Moi, The Pheels), REO (Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Lil Wayne) and NEVR (Meek Mill). The news follows her recent dreamy release, "Castles" featuring St. Beauty (Wondaland) - watch the Vogue-approved companion video below. The project is available for pre-order now HERE. Since first singing in church at the age of four, BOSCO has grown into one of Atlanta's baddest female artists, continuously pushing the boundaries of culture and music. She's quickly become an artistic powerhouse with her recently-launched new creative agency, SLUG, that was profiled by Fast Company. Whether she's channeling futuristic R&B (the Boy EP, featured in HBO's hit Insecure), neon dance vibes (her house-inspired Treasure Fingers collaborations "Names" and "Myne") or straight up club bangers (the acclaimed Girls In The Yard mixtape with Speakerfoxxx), BOSCO's distinct vision always cuts through like nothing else. "'b.' is a collection of songs about escapism, freedom, self-discovery, and relationships while transitioning into womanhood.I created this body of work in Atlanta, Los Angeles, and New Orleans from intimate moments in my bedroom, friends' stories, unfinished conversations and feelings while traveling, Uber + plane rides with fleeting thoughts, and self-love/worth during solitude. During this process, I learned a lot about myself, facing things no one really wants to see about themselves. I guess I'm telling my truths this time around." - BOSCO. |
